I'm challenging 27 to fight MND
My Challenge 27 for MND
From September 1 to September 27, I’ll be running in honour of my dad, who we sadly lost to Motor Neurone Disease (MND) last year. MND is a cruel and relentless condition that robs people of their independence and dignity, and right now there is no cure.
To make this challenge even more personal, I’ve set myself the goal of running 67 km across the 27 days — one kilometre for every year of my dad’s life. I’ll be breaking it into three runs a week and pushing through until I hit that mark by September 27. Every step is for him, and for everyone still fighting MND.
I’m taking on Challenge 27 to raise $2,727 for vital research, awareness, and support for those living with MND and their families.
The number 27 is at the heart of this challenge — for 27 days I’ll be pushing myself to run well beyond 27 km. Every step I take is for Dad, and for the hope that one day, no family will have to go through what ours did.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and your support — whether through a donation or simply sharing my page — means the world. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against MND.
🙏 Please help me reach my goal of $2,727. Every dollar brings us closer to a future free from MND.
I'm taking part in FightMND's Challenge 27 to challenge not just my wellness goals, but also the Beast and be part of the fight towards a world free from MND.
Challenge 27 is a powerful reminder that the average life expectancy for someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.
If you can, please support me by donating to my page. Every dollar counts, and all funds raised go to support FightMND’s mission to find a cure for motor neurone disease.
Your support means a lot to me!
Thanks!

First Run down!
Tuesday 2nd Sep12.5 km Done ✅
Today I pushed through a tough 12.5 km run as part of my Challenge 27 for MND. It wasn’t easy, but every step reminded me why I’m doing this — for Dad, and for everyone facing MND right now.
This run takes me closer to my goal of 67 km in 27 days. There are plenty more kilometres to come, and I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other until I get there.
Thank you so much to everyone who’s donated and supported me so far — it really does keep me running!
