I'm challenging 27 to fight MND # for Katherine

Hi there,

I'm taking part in FightMND's Challenge 27 to challenge not just my wellness goals, but also the Beast and be part of the fight towards a world free from MND.  

Challenge 27 is a powerful reminder that the average life expectancy for someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

Day 27-Final day of 27 Challenge

Saturday 27th Sep
Final day of the 27 Challenge today. Last few days have been the first warmish one in Canberra for a few months.  I finished off with a 2.7 km run . (I use the term "run" loosley) .It was  a bright blue morning with a cool breeze. 
I cant believe nearly 3 years have gone by since Katherine Moore passed away.  Luke will correct me if I am wrong but she was either only 50 or 51 years old. She was much loved by her students, many friends and especially by her family.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated . You have helped to fund  work into alleviating the suffering and hopefully one day finding a cure for MND

day 22-26

Saturday 27th Sep
22- push ups
23- squats
24 -push ups
25 -chinups
26 - sit ups

Day 21 - Sunday

Sunday 21st Sep
27 minute (plus) bike ride
Rode out to war memorial and back

Day 18, 19, 20

Saturday 20th Sep
27 sit ups, 27 squats, 27 push ups

days 12-17

Wednesday 17th Sep
sit ups , pushups and 2.7 km walk/ run

Day 10 ,11

Thursday 11th Sep
27  situps ups 
27 chin ups ( thats hard!!)

Day 9

Tuesday 9th Sep
27 minutes (4 X7) of  Lucy Whyndam -Read workouts

Day 8

2.7 km  jog/ walk ( I havent run that far for a looong time)
Running may be a bit of an exaggeration, more of a "trundle".

I started the 27 challenge  today- started easy with 27 sit ups. I have to fit in with my work routine and home duties  so weekadays will be a challenge  , but I am open to new ideas.
