I'm challenging 27 to fight MND
Hi there,
I'm taking part in Challenge 27 to raise funds for FightMND for my darling Aunt. In September, I'll be riding on my Peloton doing 27kms a day for 27 days.
Why?
Because 27 months is the average life expectancy after a motor neurone disease diagnosis. Please help me make a difference and be part of the fight towards a world free from MND.

Monday 4th AugMy aunt passed away yesterday from Motor Neurone Disease, a cruel, relentless illness that slowly steals everything but the mind. She was vivacious, incredibly smart, and oh so funny; the kind of person who lit up a room and left it warmer than she found it.
MND took away a mother, sister, grand-mère, aunt, and friend to so many. It robbed her of movement, speech, and breath but it never touched her spirit. She was defiant where she could still be.
There must be a cure. There has to be. No one else should have to watch someone they love fade while still very much here.
We will keep remembering her laugh, her wit, and her spark and we will keep hoping for a future without MND.
