I'm challenging 27 to fight MND

Hi everyone,
I'm taking part in FightMND's Challenge 27 to challenge for two reasons:
1. A tool to help me with my wellness goals, but also
2. I want to be part of the fight towards a world free from MND. Challenge 27 is a powerful reminder that the average life expectancy for someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.
Our family know that statistic too well - Andy died 8 years ago, 24 months after her formal MND diagnosis. Yet it had also taken six months of testing, to reach that diagnosis. So it really felt like a 2.5 year journey with MND for Andy, Ron and family.
Personally, I'm aiming to spend at least 27 minutes every day outside during September. I am basically bed/couch-bound, and can easily spend many days without stepping beyond my bedroom/lounge/bathroom. Over July-August we 4WD camped to the Kimberley, and of course spent long hours every day outdoors. My health managed better than I expected, so I want to continue spending time outdoors!
If you can donate to my page, all funds raised go to support FightMND’s mission to find a cure for motor neurone disease.
Your support means a lot to me!
Thanks!
