Hi there,
I'm taking part in FightMND's Challenge 27 to challenge not just my wellness goals, but also the Beast and be part of the fight towards a world free from MND.
Challenge 27 is a powerful reminder that the average life expectancy for someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.
If you can, please support me by donating to my page. Every dollar counts, and all funds raised go to support FightMND’s mission to find a cure for motor neurone disease.
Your support means a lot to me!

Challenge 27 Completed
Friday 10th Oct
💙 Challenge 27 – Completed! 💙
Over the past nine days, I completed my final six walks for Challenge 27 - each one in a different place across my homeland, Israel.
It’s been such a privilege to share about FightMND and the incredible work they do, even while walking here, thousands of kilometres from Australia.
In total, I’ve completed 27 walks - some in Melbourne, Australia, and some in Israel - covering many kilometres across varied terrains and challenges. Every single walk has been empowering, emotional, and deeply meaningful.
My heartfelt thanks to all the beautiful souls who supported me throughout this journey - for every kind message, every word of encouragement, and every single donation.
✨ Together, we raised $1,422! ✨
I am beyond grateful for your generosity and support.
This experience has reminded me of the power of community, compassion, and purpose. I’ll continue to support FightMND in every way I can - until there’s a cure.
With love and healing to everyone impacted by MND. 💙 🌹Ronit
Walks 13–21 /27 - The Golan Heights
Tuesday 30th Sep
Coming back to my homeland and walking through the Golan Heights, the place where I grew up, has been an emotional and deeply personal journey. Moving from one place to another during my visit made it hard to keep track or post about each walk, but every step was not only part of my Challenge 27, it was also for my heart and soul.
The photo attached is a glimpse of eight of these walks. It’s autumn now, and the hills are wrapped in soft browns and golds. Yet as I walk, I can almost see the winters of my childhood: rolling green fields, streams flowing freely, waterfalls thundering down the rocks, and trees bursting with life. Every path carries a memory; every view awakens the feeling of home.
Each day I walked between 5–8 km. I know I won’t complete the remaining six walks by tomorrow (30 September), but I’ll keep going -step by step - until I finish my challenge, honouring both these memories and my commitment to the cause.
Walk 12 / 27 - Ayit Waterfall - Golan Heights- Israel
Wednesday 24th Sep
This beautiful waterfall flows powerfully in winter but dries up in summer. Even though the landscape was marked by dry plants and soil, it still held its own beauty. All around, I spotted many squill flowers scattered across the ground - a true sign of autumn in Israel.
The hike itself isn’t too difficult. Within 3.5 km you reach the river and spring pools, though in summer they too are dry. The return climb of 3.5 km can be a little more challenging, but still manageable.
It was hot and windy on the day of my walk, but absolutely worth it. Share
Walk 11 /27 - Ancient Katzrin Park
Tuesday 23rd Sep
My hometown, Katzrin, was named after the ancient Jewish farming village of Kasrin, which was inhabited between the 2nd and 7th centuries. This incredible historical site is just 2.5 km from my mum’s house.
As a little girl, I loved wandering through the ruins, imagining what life might have been like back then - it always felt magical to me. Today, walking there again, I felt that same magic all over again, as childhood memories came flooding back and filled my heart. I was also amazed by the incredible work the park’s staff have done to preserve and recreate the ruins, offering visitors both a meaningful and educational experience.
On to the next walk very soon x
Love and light,

Walk 10 / 27 - Sunrise in Katzrin
Sunday 21st Sep Walk 10 / 27 - Sunrise in KatzrinThis morning, I went for a beautiful sunrise walk around my hometown, Katzrin. So much has changed!
When I was a young girl, Katzrin was a small town in the heart of the Golan Heights. I used to walk to a special spot where I could sit quietly, gaze at the Kineret (Sea of Galilee), and simply think, dream, or just be.
Today, when I returned to that same place, I found it had been overtaken by new houses and buildings. I walked about 2 km south in search of a new spot to take a picture of the view, but everywhere I turned, there were more new homes. It warms my heart to see the town growing. But I can't help but miss the old version - the quiet, open spaces of my childhood.
I walked over 4 km.
* I am continuing my Challenge 27 for FightMND while I am away 🖤💛🤍 There's still time to support this important cause by making a donation and / or sharing my page (link in bio).
✨️ Reminder: if you'd like to enter the draw to a 30-minute Mediumship reading session, please write "Fight" in the messages on my page after you make a donation. The draw will take place on 1 October.
💙 Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to finding a cure and gives hope to those living with MND.

Walk 9/27 - Ein Fahorah, Qatzrin
Sunday 21st Sep Walk 9/27 - Ein Fahorah, Qatzrin I’m spending time with my family in my hometown of Qatzrin, Israel. I grew up here, surrounded by so much natural beauty, though so much has changed since I moved to Australia nearly 20 years ago. From my mum’s house, you can wander to countless waterfalls, springs, and hidden gems. Today, we walked to Ein Fahorah, a natural spring just 2.5 km away. Nestled under fig trees, this little oasis was the perfect spot to cool down and relax after our walk on a hot summer’s day. 🌿💧 I’m continuing my Challenge 27 for FightMND while I’m away. 🖤💛 There’s still time to support this important cause by making a donation and/or sharing my page. Walk 8/12 - Challenge 27: Sunrise Walk 🌅
Saturday 20th Sep
After a 24-hour flight, stepping out for a sunrise walk was exactly what I needed. The sky was painted in the most beautiful colours, the air was crisp and cool, and the temperature outside felt just perfect. ✨
This walk nourished my soul and worked wonders for my jet lag. I can’t wait to take my next walk here and soak in more of the beauty of my homeland.

Walk 7/27 - Bangkok Ariport
Wednesday 17th Sep
Walk 7/12 - Challenge 27: Bangkok Airport ✈️
The past couple of weeks have been so hectic that I’ve honestly struggled to find time for walks. I knew this might happen, which is why I began my challenge before September 1st - to give myself a little breathing room.
This walk was definitely a little different (or maybe a lot 😅), but a walk is a walk, no matter where it happens! I powered through a full hour inside Bangkok Airport - no leisurely stroll, but a determined, fast-paced walk. Unfortunately, I couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi to track my steps, but based on the map and my count, I’d say it was around 4-5 km.
It actually felt perfect for Challenge 27, because my inspiration – our dear friend Wazza - absolutely loved to travel. So this airport walk felt like a fitting tribute to him.
I’m really looking forward to continuing my walks while I’m away and sharing them with you.
Love & light,
Ronit 🌸✨
Walk 6/27 - Albert Park
Sunday 7th Sep This morning, I chose Alber Park for my walk, and for a few good reseaons:a) It's only about a 15-minute drive from my home - perfect for my crazy busy day.
b) It's simply beautiful.
c) It's where FightMND hosted the Great MND Relay back in February.
I arrived early, greeted by strong winds, grey clouds, and a shy sun trying to break through. The sunrise looked different today, but no less stunning. And yes- it was very, very windy! After chasing my hat down the path one too many times, I finally surrendered and carried it in my hand.
As I walked, my thoughts drifted to Father's Day and to many way it touches people: those blessed to celebrate with their dads, those who carry their dad's memory in their hearts, and the dads who are fighting life-threatening diseases, determined to stay and watch their children grow. 💙
I thought of Warren, who fought the Beast with everything he had until the very end, leaving behind his incredible partner and two very young children. His strength, love, and request to fight the Beast remain a powerful reminder of why I am walking this challenge.
Let's fight the Beast together until there’s a cure 🖤💛🤍

Walk 5/27 – Karkarook Park 🌅
Tuesday 26th Aug
This morning, I set out for another beautiful walk, this time close to home at the stunning Karkarook Park. Still recovering from the 1000 Steps and trying to balance my busy schedule, an early morning walk here felt like the perfect choice.
This hidden oasis in the middle of Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs is pure magic. With over 6km of trails, you can walk, jog, or cycle your way around. You can also relax by the lake, cast a fishing line, or simply enjoy spotting the many beautiful birds that visit daily. 🦆✨
It was such a gorgeous morning, and watching the sunrise as I wandered through the trails was truly soul-nourishing. 🌞
Walk 4/27 Spring in My Neighbourhood 🌸
Tuesday 26th Aug
After a full-on week and the tough challenge of the Kokoda Track Memorial Trail (which definitely left me sore!) I chose something gentler today - a peaceful walk around my own suburb.
The sun was shining, spring was in the air, and the gardens were bursting with colour. 🌼🌿 I loved admiring the beautiful flowers and plants decorating the streets. This time, I wasn’t in a rush- I let myself slow down and simply enjoy being present, getting a little lost in time and space.
We are so lucky to have such beautiful suburbs here in Melbourne. If you can, I encourage you to step outside and take a walk around your neighbourhood - you never know what beauty you’ll discover right outside your door. 🌞 Thanks for your support. Love and light, 🌹 Ronit

Walk 3/23 for my challenge 27
Tuesday 26th Aug
Today's walk took me to one of Melbourne's most iconic bushwalks- the Kokoda Track Memorial Walk, better known as the 1000 Steps.
Built in the early 1900 and later upgraded with concrete steps in 1950, this steep rainforest trail has become both a fitness challenge and a place of deep remembrance. In 1998, Kokoda veterans adopted it as their Memorial, with 14 plaques along the track to honour the Australian soldiers who fought and sacrificed on the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea.
The 1000 Steps are said to represent the Golden Staircase - the gruelling 2000 Steps cut by Army Engineers during the war. Walking it today was not only a physical challenge, but also a powerful reminder of courage, sacrifice, and resilience.
If you are in a position to help, please consider making a donation and / or share my page. Link in my bio for details. If you'd like to get in the draw for a 30 minute Mediumship Reading, leave "Fight" in messages on my page after you've made a donation.

2/27 Walks for my Challenge 27
Wednesday 20th Aug
I was so happy to see the weather improve today - the sun was shining, the wind had eased, and the ocean was calm. There was a quiet magic in the air, and I could truly feel it. 🌊☀️
For this walk, I started at the end of North Road in Brighton and followed the Bay Trail towards the iconic Brighton Bathing Boxes. Once again, I walked 5 km, bringing back memories of last year’s journey when I completed 27 km + 1. 💛
Now I’m wondering… where should I go for my next walk? 🚶♀️🌹 Ronit

1/27 Walks for my Challenge 27
Wednesday 20th Aug
As a mother of three beautiful young children, working full-time while also running my own business, finding time for the things I’d love to do isn’t always easy. Still, I knew without a doubt that I’d be joining Challenge 27 again this year. This time, though, I wanted it to be different—something fun, meaningful, a little challenging, and most importantly, manageable within my busy schedule.
That’s how the idea of 27 Walks for Challenge 27 was born.
Over the weekend, I went on my very first walk at one of my favourite local spots. It was cold and windy, yet I cherished every moment of it 🖤💛🤍.
I walked along the Bay Trail in Brighton, heading towards Elwood. I managed 5km- a great start to the challenge and something that fit perfectly into my busy weekend schedule.
As always, I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity and for your continued support.

27 walks for my Challenge 27!
Tuesday 29th Jul
I'm taking on Challenge 27 in loving memory of our dear friend, Warren Galgut, who passed away in April 2023. He was 44. I am honouring his request to keep fighting the Beast.
While this cruel disease may have taken his body, and in the end, his life, it never took his spirit. His courage and determination continue to inspire me every step of the way.
This year, I'm dedicating myself to 27 walks, each one unique in distance and location, symbolising the story, the journey, the fight, and the resilience of those impacted by MND.
I'll be starting my Challenge 27 a little earlier than September to give myself the flexibility to complete the walks, especially considering my busy schedule and medical condition, which can sometimes create limitations.
I invite you to follow my journey on Instagram
@ronit.levharpsychicmedium
where I’ll be sharing photos, videos, and a little insight from each of my walks.
With gratitude and love, 🌹Ronit
