I am fundraising for FightMND!
Hi there, for those of you who don’t know me my name is Riley,
I am a 17 Year Old Boy who Lives in Canberra, Australia and I will be running a full marathon (42.2KM) to raise vital funds for FightMND to support research, care, as well as spreading awareness of the devastating disease that is Motor Neurone Disease.
MND is devestating terminal disease which affects 1 in 300 People, with over 5000 New Diagnoses every year. MND is a destructive disease which destroys the nerve cells responsible for muscle control, this ultimately leads to an eventual failure of every critical system in the body, from speech to movement, to swallowing and eventually breathing. Tragically, MND is incurable with the average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.
I would like you to know this is for a significant cause, and if you are unable to donate, which is perfectly okay, I wish if you could please spread this page as far and wide as possible, I would forever be grateful. The details of this event are yet to be confirmed but I will let you all know well in advance before the run takes place.
