BEAST MODE RUNS FOR NEALE – FIGHTING THE BEAST OF MND

Hi Everyone,

This Saturday at Sandown, our horse BEAST MODE will race in a special set of FightMND silks to honour the life and legacy of Neale Daniher AO and to help raise awareness and funds in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Neale courageously battled MND for many years and famously referred to the disease as “The Beast.” Sadly, Neale recently lost his fight, but his determination, courage and impact on Australians will never be forgotten.

The connection couldn’t be more fitting. This Saturday, BEAST MODE will carry the FightMND colours as a tribute to Neale and every family affected by this devastating disease.

A special thanks to owner Peter Thompson who came to us with the idea of having Beast Mode run in the FightMND silks and for helping make this idea come to life. 

We would also like to thank our trainers and admin team at Lindsay Park and the team at Gelagotis Racing who have kindly allowed us to use their registered silks. 

MND is a progressive and terminal disease with an average life expectancy of just 27 months from diagnosis. While tremendous progress has been made, there is still no cure.

We are asking our owners, friends, family and racing community to join us in supporting this incredible cause. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund vital research, develop effective treatments and bring us closer to finding a cure.
