I’m fundraising for FightMND with the Sandringham Dragons
This year, the Sandringham Dragons are proudly taking part in the DIY Big Freeze to raise funds for FightMND — and I need your support.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a devastating, progressive illness that takes away a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow, and ultimately, breathe — often within just 27 months of diagnosis. But with your help, we can fight back.
This cause is deeply personal to me. In 2012, my Aunty was diagnosed with MND. After a courageous battle, she sadly passed away in 2017. I’ve also volunteered with an MND organisation, providing hand and foot massage to people living with MND. I’ve seen firsthand the brutal impact this disease has — not just on the body, but on families and lives.
That’s why I’m committed to fighting this Beast — for my Aunty, for the clients I’ve met, and for everyone affected by MND. Until there’s a cure, I’ll keep fighting.
Please donate if you can. Every dollar helps fund vital research, improve care for people living with MND, and move us closer to a cure. It only takes a minute, and your support means the world to me.
Together, we can defeat the Beast.
Thank you 💙

Wednesday 28th MayThe Sandringham Dragons are kicking off our FightMND fundraising with a splash — literally!
This Monday, as part of our training session, players and staff will be taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge with buckets of ice water being poured over us… and one brave soul even jumping into a full ice bath!
We’re doing this to raise awareness and funds to fight Motor Neurone Disease (MND) — a cause that’s deeply personal to me. I’ve just launched my fundraising page, and I’d be so grateful for your support.
Every donation, big or small, will help fund research, improve care, and bring us closer to finding a cure. Let’s defeat the Beast together 💙
