Sunday 5th Jul
The Penrith Rugby Club will be hosting a Big Freeze Round in support of FightMND and Motor Neurone Disease NSW when we take on Merrylands at home on Saturday 18 July. Both organisations do incredible work in the fight against MND and in supporting those affected by the disease.
MND has touched the Penrith Emus family deeply, with two generations of Emus feeling the loss of much-loved club members Peter Benson and Nathan Ridd.
In addition to our match-day activities, including the ice bucket challenge and fundraising efforts, we will also be supporting the Walk to Defeat MND at the Regatta Centre on Sunday 19 July.
The Ridd family will be taking part in the walk on what is Nathan's birthday, honouring his memory and helping raise awareness and support for others facing MND.
We know there are many former Emus now involved with other clubs who may not be able to make it to our game on Saturday but could join us for the walk on Sunday.
We encourage all current and former players, members, families and supporters to be part of the Penrith Emus Team by registering for the 5km walk and/or making a donation via the link below:

And don't forget to dig out your old Emus gear so we can proudly represent the club together on the day.
Together, we can honour Peter and Nathan's legacy while helping defeat the Beast that is MND.
