In memory of Mez, we're fundraising for Daniher's Drive!
We’re taking part in our 7th Daniher’s Drive, for the first time in South Australia, fundraising to help FightMND in its mission to find effective treatments and one day a cure for MND.
Our beloved Mary (Mez) Spong passed away in 2017 from MND. She was so stoic and showed unimaginable strength throughout her decline. But it was heartbreaking, debilitating and something we want to stop happening to others. Losing a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother and friend, too young, too soon. Forever in our thoughts, especially on the Drive. And especially this year, with the loss of Neale Daniher, an inspiration to every Drive member.
Rest in peace Mez. Rest in peace Neale. Let the rest of us not rest until we find a cure.
