Run free, End MND

I am fundraising for FightMND!

Hi there,

This October I’m going Sober for October and pledging to run 200km to fight MND.

MND (Motor Neurone Disease) is a brutal illness that takes away movement, walking, talking, even breathing while the mind stays sharp.

The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

One of my closest friend’s fathers is battling it right now, so this cause means a lot to me.

I’m kicking off with a 50km ultramarathon (signed up just 3 days ago 😅) and another ultra later this month. I’ve never done anything like this before, but I’m running for something bigger than myself.

👉 For every new follower in October, I’ll also donate $0.50 to MND (up to $200).

👉 I’ll share updates on every run so you can follow the journey.

Every step this month is for MND, for men’s mental health, and for proving we’re stronger together. If you can donate, share, or even just follow along, it all helps.

Thank you so much for your support.

BIG LOVE💙

Updates

Friday 31st Oct
I have ran another 2 ultra marathons in the soft 2 weeks and a few shorter runs. The two big runs were Whistler to Squamish on the Sea to Sky trail which covered 50+ kms and then a week later I ran the Sea to Sky trail north to Pemberton from Whistler. They are both stunning trails with waterfalls, lakes and beautiful fall trees and leaves everywhere.

I did injure myself on the last run but I will be pushing through.

I am now up to 192/200kms.

8 to go with 2 days left.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

Big love to you all xx

Whistler 50km — Ultra Marathon Done ✅

Monday 6th Oct

What a day.

Yesterday I took on my first ever ultra marathon, the Whistler 50km… and wow, it was every bit as gruelling as I imagined. This was not only my first ultra, but also my first time running beyond 25km, so I truly had no idea what to expect.

By the 32km mark, my legs gave out completely. Every step hurt. But after a quick stretch, a deep breath, and a reminder of why I was doing this, I found the strength to keep moving. Step by step, I pushed through to the finish line — crossing it in 4 hours and 24 minutes. I couldn’t be prouder.

I’m incredibly thankful that I get to move, run, and push my limits for a cause that means so much to me.

If you’d like to support, even a small donation or share helps spread the message further. Every step counts and I’m just getting started.

Much love,

Sean 💙
