This challenge hasn’t started the way I planned, but I’m still showing up, one step and 27 squats at a time

Monday 14th Sep

It was a slow start to this challenge, as I was facing a challenge of my own. But I’ve started, and I wanted to share with you that since 3 September, I’ve completed 10 hours of walking and 10 days of 27 squats.

While some of you may think this isn’t really a challenge, for me, it is.

Due to my own health challenges and busy life, finding the time to complete it hasn’t always been easy. I also need to make sure I don’t push myself too hard, so I can complete the challenge without compromising my own health.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Every bit of support means so much to me and helps me keep going in the fight against the Beast. 💙

Here we go!!

27 months is the average life expectancy after an MND diagnosis, so I’ll be walking 27 hours in September and will be doing 27 squats every day for 27 days, to help change the number. Will you help me?

This is my fourth year supporting @fightmnd , by taking on a challenge to fight the Beast.

I’m humbled by the support in previous years, and by the number of people who’ve reached out to share their experiences with MND through someone they know who’s been diagnosed with, or lost their life to MND. It’s a reminder of how many people this cruel disease touched, and why this fight matters.

I am grateful for any support you can offer, whether that’s making a donation or simply sharing my page. Every bit helps.
