I’m fundraising for FightMND
I'm taking the plunge in this year's DIY Big Freeze to help FightMND beat the Beast – and I'm doing it in memory of my dad Maurice.
In 2010, I lost my dad to Motor Neurone Disease (MND) after he fought a heart breaking battle with this cruel illness. It’s a cause that sits incredibly close to my heart, and this year, my workplace Besser + Co is proudly standing beside me to bring an event to life that honours his memory and raises much-needed funds to fight MND.
MND is a progressive, relentless disease that gradually takes away a person’s ability to move, speak, eat, and eventually breathe. The average life expectancy is just 27 months. It’s devastating, and yet, there is still no cure.
I’m calling on you to help me make a difference. Your donation—big or small—will go toward improving the quality of life for those living with MND, supporting families through the unimaginable, funding research for more effective treatments, and ultimately helping us find a cure.
