Hi there,
As I approach 100 years on this earth with many experiences both good and bad behind me - I now see life with a certain clarity.Â
I have been fortunate and had an amazing life but those diagnosed with MND today are not so. We do not live forever but what Motor Neurone Disease inflicts on the human body is beyond belief.
I started my working life as a nurse and throughout my 100 years I have seen many amazing developments but I have never seen anything more insidious than MND. Many families know someone who has had MND and I can empathise with those families impacted by the disease, having lost a daughter myself (Sue aged 57) to MND.
Please support me today by donating to fund vital research, effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.
