I am fundraising for FightMND!
Hi
My name is Hudson, I’m 11 years old. I was inspired to fundraise for MND after writing a biography for school about the inspirational Neale Daniher. He faces major health challenges but is still out there raising awareness and vital funds for the cause. I would like to raise funds too so this is my pledge:-
1- I will run from Shorncliffe Pier to Decker Park and back again to complete 10kms
2- After my big run, I’ll join the big freeze challenge by hopping in an ice bath for 10minutes
3- I won’t talk for 10 hours to honour those living with MND who experience loss of their speech.
The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months. My great Grandmother Marnie died 10months after she began getting sick. I want to give people with MND a brighter future and longer life. May we hope to see a cure in my lifetime.

The icey dunk
Sunday 3rd Aug Today I tried practising a long ice dunk to prepare for my Big 10 Challenge. I felt panicked initially but then settled down into the icey temperature. I lasted 14 mins and felt proud. It did take a long time to warm up afterwards! ShareThank you to my Sponsors
