We are taking the plunge this DIY Big Freeze 10 to fundraise $1000 towards vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). 

The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

We will be walking the pirate plank (dunk tank really?) at Kingsway football club no the 8th June, so please support us by donating to fund vital research, effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.

** MAKE THE KINGSWAY PIRATE WALK THE PLANK **

Monday 3rd Jun

Kingsway’s very own Pirate, Graeme Linter joins the crew to be walk the plank to FIGHT MND at Kingsway Football Club on the 8th June. The Kingsway Pirate who hails from well renowned Pirate land of Bristol in the UK where Blackbeard was born and bred, has sailed his ship all the way to the Port of Kingsway and is ready to get dunked in the cold waters of his adopted homeland. We have tried to send him back for many years, but the good folk of Bristol keep sending him back to us, we don’t tank you so support us to keep him here??

 

Get behind the Kingsway Pirate in support MND as he has never had any issue in supporting everyone else’s fundraising endeavours for their pursuits. He has been known for walking half marathons, make wildish donations, sell raffle tickets to people he has never met before, and although most Pirates are mean and nasty, this one is big a softy at heart.

 

Come share a cold Bulmer’s with him before or after the dunking as there no doubt will be a story to tell. What should his costume be for the day??
