I am fundraising for FightMND!

Hi there,

I am raising vital funds to support FightMND and help beat the Beast that is Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

My dad was diagnosed with MND in January 2024 and passed away 6 months later in June. This is a disease with no cure, a death sentence from the start. 

So much was taken away from our family by this disease but it also continues to affect other families around Australia and the world.

We couldn’t do anything for Dad, but we could, together, do something for others living with MND and their families.  

We will be walking around Lake Burley Griffin to raise money for Fight MND and honour my dad’s memory. We will start at the National Library at 10am on SATURDAY 13 of JUNE, grabbing coffee before we set off, and doing a full loop of the lake. 

You don’t have to donate if you can’t afford to (your presence at the walk would be even better!) but even a small contribution would help the cause.
