DVP is fundraising for FightMND

Hi there,

This year the team at DVPΒ are taking the plunge in the DIY Big Freeze 10 to fundraiseΒ $3000Β towards vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).Β 

Motor Neurone Disease is a degenerative disease which affects the nerves known as motor neurones. The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

To coincide with 10th year of the Big Freeze and our major customer Coles, DVP will be hosting its very own Big Freeze – Soak a Supervisor event.

To enter simply scan the barcode and make your donation to this great cause. Donations over $5 will put you in the draw to win the opportunity to soak a supervisor of your choice from the list of nominated supervisors. Various spot prizes will be drawn throughout the day for all donations across the Pork division. Β 

The event will be held on Wednesday 19th June at DVP. Please support us by donating to fund vital research, effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.

Supervisor Spotlight - Rodney Taffe

Wednesday 12th Jun

Rod is one of our Boning Room Supervisors.

Supervising the Packing area he is often seen in the mix labeling up a storm.

Puppy parent Rod will happily share videos of his dachshunds with anyone who asks.

Used to 8˚C in the Boning Room lets see if he can handle the BIG FREEZE!

Joel is DVP’s illustrious leader joining DVP as Plant Manager this year.

Joel has worked in the industry for 23 years!

Always ready to give anything a go our Plant Manager put his hand up for this great cause!

Sid is DVP’s QA Manager.

While he has not been at DVP for long he has made a big impact!

You will hear him before you see him with his footsteps announcing his arrival.

Our resident Englishman is missing the ice and snow, reacquaint him this BIG FREEZE!

Jaan is our maintenance supervisor.

Jaan has been around for a long time but officially joined Team DVP in 2023.

A hard worker you will see him all over the site moving from job to job.

Working in Corowa before moving to DVP Bec has made many positive changes to the working environment at DVP.

Bec is well known across the business for her cheerful nature!

Starting in 2017 as a casual C Grader he has worked his way up into management.
