Wazza is cycling for MND research!
I am taking part in the PedalCure4MND South Australia Tour 2026 to help FightMND fund the best research to find a cure for motor neurone disease (MND). My goal is to raise $5000.
I have not been directly impacted by MND, but I know many people locally who have, and that is reason enough to step up.
I started riding socially during 2018, but my efforts have always been thwarted by farming related activities. At the start of 2025, I decided to commit to this ride, and so in preparation I rode every week bar three.
Over five days starting on Saturday, February 28, I will be cycling 690km across South Australia, all to raise much-needed funds in the fight against MND.
MND is a devastating disease that takes away a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow, and even breathe. There is no effective treatment or cure, but together, we can change that.
