The Bears are fundraising for FightMND
Our Bears club is taking part in this year's Big Freeze to fundraise for MND.
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe.… all in an average timeframe of just 27 months.
Our LLT coach Keith Miller and his family experienced this first hand when he lost his brother Steven after a short battle with MND.
After witnessing how quickly this disease can take over and take everything from someone, it is something they would never wish upon any family.
As MND remains a terminal diagnosis with no effective treatment or cure we as a club are asking for any donation to go towards the research in hope of a world free of MND.
