Sorrento's Big Freeze!!

Dear Families,
We are taking the plunge this year and holding our very first Big Freeze fundraiser to raise vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND)!
The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

On Monday June 10th, Sorrento Primary will be dressing in their “Winter Woolies” and taking part in activities to raise money for MND. As part of the day, students will watch the AFL Celebrity Slide on the big screen as well as some of Sorrento’s finest take the icy plunge in the name of MND. We will be having a chilly icy pole treat donated by the P&C and a special-order sausage sizzle will also be available from the canteen. Families are encouraged to donate online using the attached QR code or bring a long a gold coin donation on the day.
All money raised brings us one step closer to a cure, so let’s team up for Big Freeze 10 and DO your bit to beat the Beast that is MND.
