I’m fundraising for FightMND
I am taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
Here’s why:
A dear friend of mine, Maddie Morran, is living with MND. You know what it is, you know how awful it is, but until you’ve seen it take somebody you love’s ability to function in every capacity, can you appreciate just how insidious and cruel MND is. This is something that not one single human should ever have to go through.
In case you don’t know…
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe.… all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help me by donating through my page.
It only takes a minute and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, fund research into more effective treatments, and eventually, find a cure.
