The
Bentleigh Junior Football Club has chosen to take part in the Fight MND
BIG FREEZE 10 this year to show our support for one of our own families who
are currently in the fight. Obviously, this is very close to our team. Just as we stick tight together on the field let's stick even tighter off field to let one of our own know that this team is right there with them through this fight.
As your coach I've put my hand up for the ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE which is taking place
on the 31st of May at KGR.
Any
player who donates over $5 or more will go into the draw to be the player who
ice bathes me on the night. In addition to this any donation of $50 or more will guarantee a player the opportunity to ice bucket me. Your donations will help fund vital research, find
effective treatments and ultimately find a cure for MND.
MND
is a devastating disease and currently, there are more than 2,000 Australians
living with MND, with an average life expectancy of just 27 months from diagnosis.
With
your support and donations, we can make a difference.
