I am fundraising for FightMND!
My name is Jason Bounds, and in February of this year, I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This diagnosis has changed everything for me and my family. My wife Chelsee, our two beautiful children, Shelby (11) and Jackson (10), and I are now facing the harsh reality of this disease, which leaves no stone unturned in its devastating impact.
As we navigate this challenging journey, our focus is on creating as many lasting memories as possible. Whether it's enjoying simple moments like bike rides to school, taking family photos, or completing our backyard to make it a special place for our kids to remember, every day counts. We’ve even embarked on a family trip across Australia, a dream we want to make a reality while we still can.
But this journey is about more than just us.
We are also on a mission to raise awareness and funds to help fight MND. This cruel disease affects not only the person diagnosed but their families, their friends, and their entire community. Right now, there is no cure. But with your help, we can change that.
During our travels, we are hoping to shine a light on MND and rally support from all corners of the country. Together, we can make a difference.
