Accommodation is provided at local football clubs along the route. These are generously donated as gift-in-kind and help foster a great community vibe.

Can I stay at my own home or book separate accommodation?

add remove

Yes, you’re welcome to manage your own accommodation if preferred. Some riders have done this in the past. However, the registration fee remains the same to help cover meals, logistics, and safety support.

What are the route options for 2026?
add remove

We’ve introduced two route options to make the tour more accessible to riders of all skill levels. Both the original and new moderate routes offer challenges, so every rider can take on the route that suits them best.

Both routes finish at the same location each day, so you’ll enjoy the same camaraderie and fun, no matter which route you choose!

You won’t need to choose your route during registration; we’ll reach out to registered riders closer to the event.

If you wish to ride as a team of 2 or 3 riders on one registration, please email fundraising@fightmnd.org.au.  Each rider in a team of 3 could do a third of each day, or 40km + 340vm/day.

What time does the ride start each day?

add remove

Each day kicks off around 7:30am, with breakfast and a short safety briefing beforehand.

Is there a fundraising target?

add remove

Yes, riders need to raise a minimum of $1,000. However, the average raised per rider is usually $5,000+.

Where can I find fundraising tools and resources?

Where do the funds I raise go?

add remove

At FightMND we work to invest into the most innovative and passionate researchers with the aim to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for motor neurone disease (MND).

In addition to funding MND research, FightMND also funds MND care and assistive equipment for people living with MND.

Investing in research continues to be our best weapon against the Beast, but it’s expensive and takes time. We have made a lot of progress, but the fight is not over. We continue to raise vital funds until we beat the Beast that is MND.

What should I bring?
