Sunrise is back for another year, and this time they’ll be joining us for an extra-special morning as we celebrate the launch of our 10th Daniher’s Drive!
Want to be right in the middle of the action? We’re inviting our early risers to arrive at 5:00am and join us in the background of the first live crosses of the morning. Bring your energy and enthusiasm and help us create an amazing atmosphere as we mark 10 incredible years of Daniher’s Drive.
It will be a big morning and a very special way to start what promises to be an unforgettable Drive. If you’re keen to join us bright and early, please let Raelene know in advance so we can expect you.

Kicking off the drive: When to get there and where to park
Location: The Drive, War Memorial Drive, North Adelaide SA 5006
Official Launch: 7:00am – 8:45am
Sunrise activity: From 5:00am
It’s finally here! Daniher’s Drive officially gets underway at The Drive, Home of Tennis SA, as we come together to kick off our milestone Drive and begin an incredible few days on the road.
If you are not attending early for sunrise, please ensure you are at the Launch on time – parked and inside the venue by 7:00am sharp. Formalities will kick off at 7:20am so make sure you are on time to grab some food and coffee before we get going.
Launch Day Parking
Free 4 hour parking is available on War Memorial Drive on the golf course side, not the Adelaide Oval side. Once you pass Montefiore Road, you’ll find parking available on both sides of War Memorial Drive.
Please allow approximately 10–15 minutes to walk from your vehicle to the Daniher’s Drive event space.

How to install your decals
A huge thank you to our wonderful friends at Tiger Corp, who are once again providing this year’s Daniher’s Drive decals and helping our vehicles look the part as we hit the road!
We can’t wait to see the convoy come together, with cars proudly displaying their decals and bringing plenty of Daniher’s Drive colour to the communities we visit along the way.
A little nervous about applying your decals yourself? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We’ve put together some handy instructions to guide you through the process and help you get your decals looking their best.
Take your time, follow the steps and before you know it, your car will be Drive-ready and looking fantastic!

Silent Auction is now open!
Get ready for a huge Night 2!
The Daniher’s Drive Night 2 Gala is set to be an incredible evening, packed with entertainment, plenty of fun and a fantastic range of fundraising activities, all helping us raise vital funds for the fight against MND.
And the fundraising has already begun! Our Silent Auction is officially OPEN for bidding!
There are some fantastic items up for grabs, so jump online, check out what’s on offer and start placing your bids. Better yet, share the auction with your friends, family and wider networks so they can get involved too.

Jayco Raffle
The Iconic Jayco Raffle Is Back!
As you may have seen, our iconic Jayco Raffle is back for another year, but this time we’re doing things a little differently!
The raffle will officially launch at our Daniher’s Drive Launch Event and, rather than wrapping up with the Drive, the excitement will continue right through until 13 December, giving everyone plenty of time to get involved and bring a little extra excitement to the start of summer!
You may have also noticed that your Drive lanyards include team-specific QR codes. These QR codes are your ticket to getting involved and helping us spread the word! Encourage your friends, family, colleagues and local communities to scan your team’s QR code and purchase their raffle tickets.
Share it far and wide with the community on the drive as well as your friends and family. Let’s get those tickets moving!
With the raffle continuing beyond the Drive, there are plenty of opportunities to keep sharing and fundraising after we’ve returned home. So take your QR code with you, get creative, spread the word and help us make this year’s Jayco Raffle a huge success.

Daniher’s Drive Packs
By now, you should all have received your Daniher’s Drive packs, filled with everything you need to start getting ready for the big adventure. Inside, you’ll find your Drive Handbook, vehicle decals, polos, caps and lanyards, ready to help you look the part and prepare for four unforgettable days on the road.
When you arrive at the official launch, we’ll have some additional goodies waiting for you to collect. We won’t give everything away just yet, but there’s still more to come!
So, unpack those polos, get your decals on the car, have your caps and lanyards at the ready and start getting excited. It won’t be long now until we’re all together and hitting the road for our 10th Daniher’s Drive!
Parking at your hotel
If you are staying at one of our recommended hotels, please see a reminder of your parking arrangements.
Amora Hotel (our top recommended accommodation provider)
Discounted parking is available at a rate of $25 per vehicle per day at Grote Street U-Park. This is based on a single entry/exit. Please collect a QR code from reception upon check-in and scan it when exiting the carpark to ensure the discount is applied. Note, parking is payable at the time of exit.
Ibis Adelaide
Parking is charged at $28 per day, per vehicle and is based on a single entry/exit per day or $35 for multi-entry in an external car park close to the hotel. Parking can be booked with the hotel directly.
Team spotlight: Team Cool Kids
Team Cool Kids
We were incredibly proud to host our 9th Annual Trivia Night in support of FightMND on Friday 21st August at Welcome to Thornbury.
For those who don't know us, Team Cool Kids is made up of seven nurses and best mates who have proudly been part of the Daniher's Drive family since 2016.
This year, we welcomed 200 amazing supporters, many of whom return year after year to get behind this important cause. Our trivia night brings together an incredible community of Austin Hospital staff, firefighters, family, friends, and many others who have supported our fundraising journey since our very first Drive.
A special thank you goes to our outstanding quiz master, Scotty. His energy, humour, and ability to engage the crowd are what make the night so memorable. Whether he's roaming the room, keeping everyone entertained, or encouraging donations in exchange for clues, Scotty creates a fantastic atmosphere and helps make the event the success it is each year. Having generously donated his time since 2016, Scotty has been a valued part of our fundraising journey from the very beginning. We are incredibly thankful for his unwavering support and commitment to the cause.
Thanks to the generosity of our family, friends, colleagues, sponsors, and supporters, we raised an incredible $22,000 on the night. This brings Team Cool Kids' fundraising total to $198,806 since joining the Drive in 2016.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who donated auction items and prizes, made a contribution, or came along to support the event.
We're now looking forward to catching up with our Drive family in a few weeks and heading to Adelaide for another unforgettable Daniher's Drive.
