Team spotlight: Where's Wally

add remove

The Where's Wally team held an AFL Sporting Legends Fundraising Luncheon on 30th July.  It was a fun filled day with footy legends, lucky door prize, auctions, a raffle, great food & wine and amazing views at the fabulous Five Vineyard winery in Mernda. Five vineyard owners Paul and Caroline and staff did a superb job hosting our 140 guests. The Lucky door prize was won by Denis Banks, who was very surprised with his prize (see photo).

Matt Tilley was our MC for the day sharing many funny stories with the AFL Legends in attendance: Tony Shaw, Denis Banks, Jake King, Michael Mansfield and Simon Madden.

Tony Shaw was our auctioneer and kept us all entertained which helped sell our auction items at a good price and a fast pace.

We were privileged to be entertained by Mike Brady who sang several songs including Up there Cazaly and a special first ever performance of a new song he has written to honour a true Legend, Neale Daniher.

A fun day was had by all and thanks to the generosity of all in attendance we raised in excess of $22,000 for FightMND.
