Axel and the Under 16s are fundraising for FightMND
Axel Pay is representing the Under 16s at the Officer Big Freeze on the 3rd June to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
Axel has played for Officer since he was under 11s and is passionate fundraiser for various community organisations and an advocate for health awareness.
He is participating in a Full marathon for NIKE in September to raise awareness and money for breast cancer.
Axel is always the first one to put his hand up to help and is always more than willing to do whatever it takes to raise awareness, money and knowledge to help others.
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months.
