DIY Big Freeze

In memory of Steven Miller

Recently, our North Canberra Bears community suffered a great loss with the passing of Steven Miller, brother of our Ladies League Tag Coach Keith Miller. Steven bravely battled Motor Neurone Disease (MND) before he passed away earlier this year, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and strength.

In honour of Steven's memory, we are organising a special Big Freeze event to raise funds for Fight MND. On Saturday May 25 (Round 6), we will hold an MND Round dedicated to raising awareness and funds for this cause so close to our hearts.

We have a number of activities planned down at the Bear Cage (Kaleen enclosed Sports Ground). If we can reach our Fundraising goal of $1000.00 our Club President, Ben Cullen will lead the plunge!

The average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND is just 27 months.

So please support us by donating to fund vital research, effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.

Thank you so much for your support!

Best wishes,

The North Canberra Bears RLFC
