We're fundraising for FightMND
At Solway Primary School, we are proud to once again be taking part in this year’s DIY Big Freeze to support FightMND and help raise awareness of motor neurone disease. Supporting this important cause has become a valued part of our school community over a number of years, bringing students, staff and families together to make a difference.
This year, some of our brave Year 6 students and teachers from around the school will be taking on the icy challenge by participating in the famous “ice bucket challenge” in support of the cause. Through these fundraising efforts, students learn the importance of compassion, community and helping others in need.
By supporting FightMND, we are helping fund vital research, improve care for people living with MND and work towards finding a cure for this devastating disease. Every donation, big or small, helps us get one step closer to defeating the Beast.
