Queechy High School Freeze

We're participating in this year's DIY Big Freeze

We're fundraising for FightMND

We are taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).

MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help us by donating through our page.

Our student leadership board have chosen teachers to participate in our lunch time MND event by going down a slide and entering a pool of ice cold water. Every dollar donated gives you a chance to vote towards a staff member or SLB member. The student and teacher with the most votes/money raised to them will also get a bucket of ice water on them as an addition.

Please contact jocelyn.mckay@decyp.tas.gov.au if you wish to select a staff member or SLB member to gain your votes. If not, the votes will be split for you.

Thank you, we really appreciate your support. Together we can defeat the Beast.
