The Officer Senior Women's Teams are fundraising for FightMND

This year, our sliders on behalf of the Officer Senior Women's Teams will be: Scott Huisman, Coach of the SFNL Women's Team and VETS Legend, Superstar and Captain of the SFNL Senior Women's Team Kaitlyn Ligthart and representing the Outer East Senior Women's Team Coach Extraordinaire Kelvin Simmons and Vice Captain Taya Rob! Together they are taking the icy plunge at the Officer Big Freeze Night on the 3rd June to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).

MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. It only takes a minute and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, fund research into more effective treatments, and eventually, find a cure.
