While Gary was in hospital, we asked if he’d like us to choose a charity in his memory. Without hesitation, he said “FightMND.”
Dad didn’t have MND himself, but he admired Neil Daniher and the amazing work he’s done to raise awareness and funds for the fight against this disease.
Every year Gazza proudly bought a FightMND beanie. With a cheeky grin, he said, “Auction Gazza’s beanies and donate the money to FightMND.”
We all burst out laughing and promised Dad we’d do it.
We hope this memory gives you a smile too, and that together we can continue to raise funds for FightMND in Gazza’s honour.
