I’m fundraising for FightMND

I am taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).

MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe.… all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help me by donating through my page.

It only takes a minute and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, fund research into more effective treatments, and eventually, find a cure.

My family is one of the small percentages that carries  the SOD1 strain of MND in our genes. 

My Dad passed away from this horrible disease in 2023. Watching someone so close to home suffer and nothing you can do to support or help is absolutely heart breaking . The end of last year my dad’s younger brother was diagnosed with MND . For my family and families alike this disease is in our future . Please help raise awareness and support as we try raise funds for research and a way to cure MND . This is for our future generations ! My heart goes out to all the other people affected by this horrible disease . 💙
