KGPS - We're fundraising for FightMND
The KGPS SRC are proud to share that our school is taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND (Motor Neurone Disease).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe. It does not just affect the person diagnosed, but the lives of every family and loved one around them.
This year, we have 8 brave (and slightly nervous) staff members who are putting themselves on the line for this icy challenge. Cast your vote for the staff member you want dunked at the Footy Day Parade through our online donation page.
Voting is simple- $2 gets you 1 vote and $5 gets you 3 votes. The three staff members with the most votes will be dunked! When voting, cast your vote/votes in the 'Message To Team' box.
Some students will also be randomly selected to help do the dunking!
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND.
Here are your brave nominees for voting:
Mr Durham, Miss Hilston, Miss M, Mr Byass, Mr Hall, Miss Jones, Miss Sexton and Mr Laughlin.
Thank you, we really appreciate your support.
