I'm fundraising for FightMND
I'm going to be tipping a huge tub of iced water over myself as part of the DIY Big Freeze to fundraise for FightMND to help beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
(Anyone who knows me knows I HATE the cold, so this is like running a marathon in terms of how much I really don't want to do this!)
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help us by donating through our page.
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and eventually, finding a cure.
