HMAS Cerberus; We're fundraising for FightMND
We are proud to be taking part in this year’s DIY Big Freeze as a Defence base‑wide initiative, raising vital funds to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech, and ultimately their ability to breathe—all within an average timeframe of just 27 months.
As a Defence community, we stand together to support those impacted by MND. We invite all base members, units, families, and friends to get involved and support this cause by donating through our fundraising page.
It only takes a minute, and any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and ultimately helping to find a cure.
Thank you for getting behind this base‑wide effort and for showing what teamwork and service truly mean.
