Gunnedah Fights MND
The amazing Gunnedah Community are once again taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
We will be hosting a number of events including 2 big freezes (June 20 and 21) along with a charity golf day at Gunnedah Golf Club on June 22.
We want to bring awareness and help local families know they are not alone in their battles as so many people we know and love have been affected.
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe.… all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help us by donating through our page.
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and eventually, finding a cure.
