Pollies take the plunge for MND
Victorian MPs from across the political spectrum have put their hand up to take part in this year's FREEZE Parliament fundraiser on June 15, to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe.… all in an average timeframe of just 27 months.
This terrible disease hits close to home for those taking the plunge with their colleague and friend, Labor MP Emma Vulin, being diagnosed with the disease in 2024.
Our brave MPs, are set to be dunked in a tank of icy water in the depths of winter at Victoria's Parliament House.
