We're fundraising for FightMND
Hi Baysie families and friends. As a club we will be taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help us by donating through our page.
Each team will support this in their own way. Stay tuned to see updates of what events will be happening to support our fundraising efforts and dates for when these will occur.
- Our U13 team will be completing an ice bucket race challenge at Round Up on Sunday 14th June.
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and eventually, finding a cure.
Last year as a club Bayswater Junior Football Club families raised a record-breaking $5653 for FightMND Round - an amazing show of support in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease, with our U12s (now U13s), who braved the cold raising a massive $3793 with their ice bucket challenge.
Thank you, we really appreciate your support. Together we can defeat the Beast.
