We're fundraising for FightMND
Hi Baysie families and friends. As a club we will be taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
Each team will support this in their own way.
🥶 Our Auskickers raised $246 with their raffle on Friday night the 12th of June
🥶 Our U9s - Fight MND socks - $255 raised
🥶 Our U11s - Fight MND socks - $300 raised
🥶 Our U17.5s - Fight MND socks - $390 raised
🥶 Our U16 Girls team completed an ice bucket challenge during training on Thursday 11th June.
🥶 Our U13 team has challenged our U17.5s to an ice bucket race at Round Up on Sunday 14th June.
Last year as a club Bayswater Junior Football Club families raised a record-breaking $5653 for FightMND Round - an amazing show of support in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease, with our U12s (now U13s), who braved the cold raising a massive $3793 with their ice bucket challenge.
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and eventually, finding a cure.
