I’m fundraising for FightMND
At just 17, Archer Weeks is the kind of young man who never shies away from a challenge. A true go‑getter with a big heart, Archer throws himself into every opportunity to make a difference—and this year’s Big Freeze Echuca Moama is no exception.
This cause is deeply personal for him. Archer is sliding in honour of his much‑loved Nan, who passed away from MND in October 2022. Her strength, courage, and spirit continue to inspire him every day, and taking part in the Big Freeze is his way of keeping her legacy alive while helping others facing the same fight.
Determined, energetic, and driven by purpose, Archer is proud to be part of a community standing together for MND.
I am taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help me by donating through my page.
It only takes a minute and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, fund research into more effective treatments, and eventually, find a cure.
