Join ASC's fight against MND
Alexandra Secondary College SRC is taking part in this year’s DIY Big Freeze to raise funds for FightMND and help beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease.
This year, students, families, and members of the wider community will have the opportunity to donate money to send both students and teachers down a giant waterslide — adding to the fun while raising money for an incredibly important cause.
MND is a devastating progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s ability to move, eat, swallow, speak and, ultimately, breathe — with an average life expectancy of just 27 months after diagnosis.
This cause is especially important to our school community after recently losing a valued community member to MND.
Please support us by donating through our fundraising page. Every contribution, big or small, will help fund vital research, improve care for people living with MND, and bring us closer to finding a cure.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can help defeat the Beast.
