We're fundraising for FightMND

We are taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech, and ultimately, their ability to breathe — all in an average timeframe of just 27 months.
To support the cause, Warners Bay Junior AFL Club is hosting a Big Freeze community fundraiser on Sunday 1st June at Feighan Oval — and we’d love you to be part of it.
We’re challenging each of our junior teams to raise at least $50, which will send their coach and manager down our giant inflatable slide into a freezing ice pool! We’ll also have a celebrity slider, and the whole day will be packed with junior AFL games, live MC, raffles, auctions, and full canteen facilities with food and drinks available for purchase.
Kids can also join in and slide for a small donation.
And just in case someone surprises you with a nomination — be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes!
Our goal is to raise $7,500, and every dollar goes directly to FightMND to help fund research, support families, and one day, find a cure.
Please help by donating, attending, or spreading the word. Your support means the world.
Together, we can defeat the Beast.
