We're fundraising for FightMND
We are taking part in this year's DIY Big Freeze to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe... all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. We lost a treasured MOCA Vic Member - Sandy Easton , to this terrible disease. Sandy supported everything MOCA and was at every meeting and event, now its time for us to do this in her honour and any other member we have lost over the years. Please help us by donating through our page. Our President Ian Collins and Merchandise Manager Bruce Roscrow will line up for the Big Freeze at our June Meeting. You can be part of that dunking! Or rather them being dunked!
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and eventually, finding a cure.
Thank you, we really appreciate your support. Together we can defeat the Beast.
Thank you to our Sponsors
