The Mildura Big Freeze is a community-led event raising vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Inspired by the incredible work of the Big Freeze at the MCG, our local version brings the Sunraysia community together for a fun and powerful cause.
Local legends take the plunge down the slide into an ice bath, helping spark conversations, raise awareness, and most importantly generate funds for MND research and support.
Behind this event are local families who have been personally impacted by MND and are determined to fight back against this devastating disease. What started as a community idea has already raised $77,961 across the first two Mildura Big Freeze events, showing just how powerful a community can be when it comes together.
Every donation helps support research, improve care for those living with MND, and brings us one step closer to a cure.
