This cause is deeply personal to our Club. With many of our Old Boys having been taken by this cruel disease and more recently Ron Hobden who is living with MND who retired from the Devils in 2022.

MND is a cruel and relentless disease that gradually takes away a person’s ability to walk, talk, eat, and breathe but not their mind or their memories. Right now, there is no cure. But there is research. There is progress. And most importantly, there are people like the the Middle Harbour Public School community that believes we can make a difference.

This fundraiser is about more than just icy baths and getting the old boys to put on their boots, it’s about showing our community what courage, compassion, and mate ship truly look like. It’s about teaching the community that every voice can make a mighty difference when they speak up for what matters.
