What is Daniher’s Drive?
Daniher’s Drive is our famous annual road trip. It’s aim is to raise awareness and vital funds to fight motor neurone disease (MND).
From the start, Australia’s regional and rural communities have been strong supporters of our community. The Drive is our opportunity to take FightMND on the road and thank these communities for all they do.
A special event on the FightMND calendar, the Drive is all about people and connection.
Many who attend the Drive have been affected by MND. Each one holds a strong connection to what FightMND stands for. Daniher’s Drive provides an opportunity to meet and get to know others impacted by the Beast.

When do registrations open?

How much is the registration fee?
The registration fee depends on the itinerary. In previous years it has been between $600 - $700 per person.
The registration fee for Daniher’s Drive 2025 will be announced when registration opens at the end of November.
What is included in the registration fee?
The Daniher’s Drive registration fee includes a Daniher’s Drive pack including event t-shirts, cap and car decals. It also includes entrance into the three evening gala events whilst on the drive. It includes all breakfasts, dinners and three lunches.
What isn’t included in the registration fee?
Your registration fee does not include your accommodation costs, petrol, car maintenance and any other miscellaneous costs.
Fundraising Information
Do you offer support with fundraising?
We have a wonderful team that can support you along the way with ideas and tips on how to get started. We also have a Daniher’s Drive hub filled with resources and guides for you to use in your fundraising efforts.
How much do I need to fundraise?
Teams up to four members must fundraise at least $5,000 before the start of Daniher’s Drive. Teams with more than four members must fundraise an additional $1,500 for each additional team member.
Where does the fundraising money go?
At FightMND our vision is a world free of MND. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, supporters and the Australian community, FightMND has invested more than $97 million into MND research and care initiatives since 2014.
This includes more than $85 million invested in cure research and $12 million into care research and support. More information about our financial performance is available in the FightMND Annual Report.
